Welcome to the SW-EL'04 workshop web
site. SW-EL’04 focused on issues related to using concepts, ontologies and semantic web technologies to build e-learning applications. Due to the great interest, the 2004 edition of the workshop was organized in three sessions held at three different conferences. The aim was to discuss the current problems in e-learning from different perspectives, including those of web-based intelligent tutoring systems and adaptive hypermedia courseware, and the implications of applying semantic web standards and technologies for solving them.
