CPLEX software

Cplex 12 is pre-installed on the Linux systems listed at compute servers It is accessed by typing cplex12 on the commandline. It can also be used programmatically by linking to the libraries in /usr/local/cplex121/lib.

Employees of the faculty are also entitled to a free non-commercial, personal IBM-academic-license for CPLEX 12. This license also includes other programs such as OPL-studio and constraint programming. It can be obtained by following IBMs instructions.

Students of the faculty can use CPLEX in AIMMS, by obtaining a free license at www.aimms.com. The notebook on which AIMMS is installed needs to be registered on the TUE domain, so this will not work for personal laptops. After a one-time registration, the software can be used offline as well.
