Although xfce resembles gnome 2, the settings that you only review after major upgrades may be hard to find.

The Application Finder should of course by default be available as shortcut.

Accessoires → Application Finder
Keyboard shortcuts
/usr/bin/xfce4-keyboard-settings
Settings → Keyboard → Application Shortcuts

Cursor (un)blink
/usr/bin/xfce4-keyboard-settings
Settings → Keyboard → Behavior → Cursor: Show blinking

Default Printer
/usr/bin/system-config-printer
Administration → Print Settings → Printername → Set As Default : Set as my personal default printer

another Terminal Emulator
another File Manager
/usr/bin/exo-preferred-applications
Settings → Preferred Applications → Internet
another Mail Reader
another Web Browser
/usr/bin/exo-preferred-applications
Settings → Preferred Applications → Utilities Settings → Preferred Applications → Utilities
→ Web Browser or Mail Reader:
→ Other... this will create these files where can adjust both application and icon:
$HOME/.local/share/xfce4/helpers/custom-MailReader.desktop
$HOME/.local/share/xfce4/helpers/custom-WebBrowser.desktop
