Extended Web Services
If possible, use EWS, which includes all of:- receiving mail
- sending mail
- address book
- calendar
The required settings are:
- Email Address: X.Y.FamilyName@tue.nl
That is, you need to enter an address@tue.nl to make autodiscover work in the next step - Receiving server type: Exchange Web Services
- Host URL: this should be auto-discovered for X.Y.FamilyName@tue.nl
IMAP
In case EWS does not work for you, use IMAP:
- Incoming mail
- server: webmail.tue.nl
- protocol: IMAP with TLS
- Outgoing mail
- server: smtp.tue.nl
- authentication:
- not required when always working at tue.nl
- required when working outside tue.nl
