E-mail (Linux)

Reading your e-mail using a Linux operating system nowadays is usually done by starting Evolution, which is RedHat's counterpart to the default Windows mailreader Outlook.

Of course there are other methods, most notably mutt, which can read e-mail on a text console (which is nice for reading your mail remotely). Mutt is usally used with procmail to implement mail filter rules.

Other e-mail clients are of course also available, but you are on your own when using them.

Do note that it is important to read mail sent to your @tue.nl address as well as to your @win.tue.nl address. Local policy dictates that you will be listed in the public contacts list with with your @tue.nl address and we do not forward this mail by default. You have to set this up by yourself.
