Cooperation
For the research being carried out at CASA, cooperation with partners
from industry and academic institutions is an essential ingredient.
Apart from numerous contacts with colleagues all over the world,
cooperation is formalised in a number of organisational frameworks.
Within TU/e
There exists fruitful contact with many groups at TU/e, in particular
with
Within TU/e cooperation is further fostered through the Centre for Computational
Engineering Eindhoven
(CCE Eindhoven),
where
some fifteen chairs cooperate on
educational and research matters. This has lead to the acquisition of
some larger funded projects through NWO
and the EU. SCG is also a member of the Material Technology Centre
(MTC), a joint TU/e TNO-TPD organisation.
National level
CASA participates in five national organisations (the first four are
so-called “onderzoeksscholen” (research schools))

European level
CASA has since long contributed to the European
Consortium on Mathematics for Industry (ECMI). It was the
coordinator of MAthematics,
Computing and Simulation for Industry (MACSI-net), a EU funded
network of excellence and also joins in the EU project NETIAM. Finally, CASA is a node in a
number of other EU funded projects, like HCM, RTN and Marie Curie.
