Colloquium by Jan de Graaf, 19
        February 2014 CASA organizes weekly meetings on Wednesday morning at 11.00. These events are

  • Colloquia, presentations given by both guest speakers and staff members. Subjects of the talks can be anything within the range of scientific computing and analysis
  • Seminars, series of lectures in the field of Computational Science and Engineering. The topics are related to the research interest of the PhD students and are presented by them. The talks are intended for a broad audience. Occasionally the series is closed by an outside expert
In addition to these meetings, CASA organizes
  • CASA days, in which PhD students have the opportunity to explain their research of the past six months and discuss their plans for the next six months
  • Minisymposia, series of lectures given by guest speakers
  • Special events, such as courses and workshops
  • Study groups, in which PhD students discuss issues on various topics
