Exploration of RF-Circuit Blocks (Master's Thesis Presentation)
|
Abstract
|
The
task of this thesis is to compute the design parameters of a certain
RF-circuit block model for given objective values. Since this problem
is in general ill-posed, due to missing uniqueness or existence of a
solution, this problem was transformed into a multiobjective
optimization problem. Thereby, the goal is to compute the so-called
Pareto front.
We will present two methods, that have been chosen for this task. On
the one hand, we have a deterministic approach, the so-called
Normal-Boundary Intersection
and on the other hand we have implemented
a probabilistic method, namely the Strength
Pareto Evolutionary
Algorithm 2. These algorithms will be introduced, and afterwards
results will be shown by means of realistic RF-circuit block models for
both methods.
