Abstract

This thesis introduces the
derivation of EV- formulation as a transformation of the
AV-formulation. The AV- formulation is derived from
the Maxwell's equations. The demand for solving electromagnetic
problems at very high frequencies motivated the invention of the
EV-formulation and it will be our center point of discussion.
We highlight the difference between these formulations and also
investigate their convergence. This will be done through the
investigation of their eigenvalues of some electromagnetic problems.
