Image deblurring
|
|
Abstract
|
In this talk we will present a
technique to deblur images as an example of an inverse problem. The
problem of deblurring an image is an ill-posed problem and cannot be
solved without additional information. This additional information is
taken from the socalled Point Spread Function.
We focus on computational issues and in particular the special
structures of the matrices that occur in the deblurring techniques:
BTTB and BCCB matrices.
Although these matrices may become very large, depending on the
resolution of the images, efficient algorithms have been developed to
deblur the image.
We show several examples of blurred images and their deblurred versions.
