Abstract
|
This presentation will be about
Rosenbrock methods and Rosenbrock AMF (Approximate Matrix
Factorization) methods. First I will start with a short introduction
about advection-diffusion-reaction equations. Then I will briefly
repeat some parts of the Runge-Kutta method and the Diagonally Implicit
Runge-Kutta method. After this short recapitulation we will proceed
with the Rosenbrock family. We will start with the Rosenbrock methods
and we will see that this method is related to the Runge-Kutta methods.
After this we will have a look at the Rosenbrock AMF methods. For these
methods I have numerical results about stability. Using these numerical
results some conclusions will be drawn about the stability for each
method.
