The purpose of the student workshop is to train students in using mathematical
modelling in development of technical systems and in economics. AccomodationStudents: you will stay atYou don't have to arrange the booking yourself, this will be done by the organizers. You do need to indicate your name and sex (and whether you plan to take a laptop, see below) to us via your local contact person, as rooms will be shared with 2 students. In case you still want to contact the hotel:
Instructors: you are free in choosing your accomodation yourself.
Be advised that this is a small-scale, family-run hotel. After arrival, arrangements have to be made with the hotel owners. For instance, it may be impossible to enter the hotel after 22:00.
Please indicate to us if you would like to share a room.
All hotels are within walking distance of the train station and the campus.

LocationMain location: Traverse on the campus of TU Eindhoven.The campus is on 5 minutes walking distance of the train station of Eindhoven (exit north side). The campus is also conveniently close to the city center with many dining options (see below). A map of the campus can be found here. Here are directions to, and a map of the campus. Parking at the campus is always available, the rate is about 0.50 euro per hour. Nearby airports are Eindhoven Airport, Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, and Brussels Airport. From Schiphol Airport, direct trains to Eindhoven leave twice an hour (:14 and :44). Travel time is 1.5 hours. See here for more train info. From Eindhoven Airport, you can take the bus to Eindhoven Central Station. Buy a "strippenkaart" (15 strips), preferably at a kiosk as this is cheaper than in the bus. FacilitiesThe organizers will provide a number of rooms for group discussions and a larger room for the presentations. If you are in possession of a laptop, we warmly encourage you to bring it with you, as this may be very practical for the work. If you plan to bring a laptop, please inform your local contact person.
