StatGraphics

Statgraphics is an extensive statistical packagewith a large number of graphical possibilities. Due to its simple menu structure StatGrahics is very well suited for educational purposes. In addition to the numerical output, StatGraphics often provides a short description, how these results should be interpreted.> The following subjects will be treated

getting acquainted with the user interface
display of data, using indicators and graphics
statistical analysis e.g. regression analysis, analysis of variance, cross tables, distribution-free statistics.
interaction with other software (input and output of data)

During the course, the student will obtain hands-on experience with the software, by carrying out statistical analysis of several data-sets.

Documentation	Will be handed out at the beginning of the course
Language	The documentation used in this course is in English. The language of communication can be either Dutch or English, to be decided by mutual arrangement with the students.
