Canada likewise publishes "Sailing Directions". In the U.K., the Admiralty, through the Hydrographer of the Royal Navy, publishes Admiralty Charts and what are denominated "Pilot" books, viz. Pacific Islands Pilot Volume II. Don't know what France calls its series. There is a master index for each series, and your friendly library map division should have them. This will enable you to identify the specific volume. The local maritime book store will also have these. Any port of consequence will have a good one. Yachting stores will probably not have them unless it caters to a transoceanic clientele. Hope this helps.
