ESIM - the European School for Industrial Mathematics
The European School for Industrial Mathematics, ESIM, is a
cooperation initiative of three highly qualified European universities,
Technische Universiteit Eindhoven
in
the Netherlands, Technische
Universität Kaiserslautern in Germany, and the Johannes Kepler
Universität Linz in Austria.
ESIM has been founded to foster and review cooperation initiatives
between the partner universities on post-bachelor level. To this end,
ESIM offers a joint Master's programme in
Industrial Mathematics. The
programme has been recognised as important by the European Commission
and has been awarded the Erasmus Mundus label in 2005. The programme
offers students the opportunity to study at two of the three partner
universities and to obtain a double degree.
ESIM also focuses its attention to find ways to cooperate on research
level, notably PhD projects.
