Please indicate as accurately as possible (specifying the subjects) what your knowledge is in the following areas, including the number of hours you have studied these subjects. Give a detailed specification as detailed as in the example below:
Introduction to numerical methods: concepts of stability and efficiency, rounding errors, condition numbers. Interpolation and differentiation: Lagrangian interpolation, Richardson extrapolation. Numerical integration: Newton-Cotes formulae, Guassian quadrature, adaptive integration. Roots of non-linear equations: iterative processes, Newton-Raphson, interval methods. Numerical methods for initial value problems: Runge-Kutta methods, linear multistep methods, stiff differential equations. Systems of linear equations: condition numbers, stability of Gaussian elimination, Newton's method. Finite difference methods for two-point boundary value problems.
