Curriculum of the IAM-CSE Master's programme

The curriculum of the master's programme contains three parts spread over two years:

A. Core programme : consisting of a fundamental mechanics course, numerical and scientific computing courses, and applied mathematics courses in partial differential equations and related topics.

B. Individual programme: homologation and minor in (computationally oriented) engineering subjects or in applied mathematics. Here a variety of topics can be chosen as electives.

C. Practical research project: largely concentrated in the second year.

Apart from the regular courses, also tutorial sessions will be included. They are presented by experts in their fields from, in principle, all over the world.
