Massive Open Online Course: "Process Mining: Data science in Action" attracts over 65.000 participants

The first run of the Massive Open Online Course: “Process Mining: Data science in Action” attracted 44.000 participants. Given the huge interest it was repeated soon after the first run and still attracted 25.000 registered participants. The course will run again at the end of the year (starting October 7th 2015). Again tens of thousands of participants are expected. These numbers indicate the steadily growing interest in process mining.

The course explains the key analysis techniques in process mining. Participants will learn various process discovery algorithms. These can be used to automatically learn process models from raw event data. Various other process analysis techniques that use event data will be presented. Moreover, the course will provide easy-to-use software, real-life data sets, and practical skills to directly apply the theory in a variety of application domains.
