The section Information Systems (IS) occupies itself with designing and building software systems for storage and distribution of information. The section harbors two research groups:

• AIS, which concentrates on the Architecture of Information Systems, and
• DH, which is concerned with Databases and Hypermedia systems.

The old IS website is still accessible, but is outdated.
