Description:
Four main areas are considered in this WG
- external noise (fluids)

- internal noise (structures)

- fluid/structure noise interactions

- industrial application

Objectives:
Identify needs of industry and society in terms of methods and software in modellisation, control, reduction and validation.

Investigate mathematical design tools to solve numerically multidisciplinary noise problems in order to improve comfort of citizens.

Increase the role of applied mathematics and computer sciences at discipline interface in the validation of multi-physics noise reduction technologies, in reducing noise of future products at low cost and minimum weight of performance penalty.
