    I just received this question via e-mail:

    Dear Joos

    My name is ..., im doing my master thesis using prom, i was trying to access to XESame, which will be really helpful for obtaining logs from a database,  but i get the following mistake on my eclipse console :

    No such host is known.
    svn: Unknown hostname 'prom.win.tue.nl'

    Has the host server changed?

    The host server has indeed changed. Please refer to http://prom.win.tue.nl/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/60/prom-developers-links for the correct link.

  • Despite I can see the information by browser, I get this problem in Eclipse when i am trying to check out from SVN:

    RA layer request failed

    svn: OPTIONS of 'https://svn.win.tue.nl/repos/prom': Could not resolve hostname `svn.win.tue.nl': No such host is known.

    (https://svn.win.tue.nl)

    Do i need to change something on it?

    Dear SantiagoH,

    First of all, thank you for registering on the forum.

    I have three suggestions that might solve this problem. Please try them in the following order:
    1. Do an SVN cleanup on the folder structure;
    2. Relocate the SVN repository of the folder to the new ProM SVN URL;
    3. It could be that you are behind a proxy server (check your browser settings to verify this). If so, you must tell Eclipse this too. Refer to http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&goto=533337& on how to set this in Eclipse.
    Hope this solves the problem.
    If not, please let us know so we can further investigate the issue.

    I still have problems to access , but it is related indeed to the proxy configuration, in the case i just need to download the sourcecode of prom without making changes just to see it and use the code of the plugins( respecting the CPL), how i can do?

    Dear Santiago,

    You can browse the SVN repository via either https://svn.win.tue.nl/trac/prom/browser or https://svn.win.tue.nl/repos/prom/ . However, this will go file-by-file and might not be convenient.

    The best way is still to check out the folder of your interest via SVN. Can't you copy the proxy settings from your internet browser to Eclipse to make it work? Otherwise you might ask local IT support since I think they know how to fix it in your specific situation.
