Apr'11 - Book by prof. Liotta

Prof. Antonio Liotta and Dr. Exarchakos published the book Networks for Pervasive Services: six ways to upgrade the Internet. It is freely accessible for TU/e staff and students.

Jan'11 - Presence at ICCE

At the upcoming IEEE ICCE conference, held in association with the CES in Las Vegas, SAN members have had 10 papers accepted.

Dec'10 - Best Paper

Coen Tempelaars, Martijn van den Heuvel et.al. received the 2nd best paper award at the 2011 ICCE conference for the paper Real-Time Priority Processing on the Cell Platform

Natasa Jovanovic et.al. received a best paper award at the Fourth International Conference on Advanced Engineering Computing and Applications in Sciences for her paper Asymptotic Bounds on Minimum Number of Disks Required to Hide a Disk

Nov'10 - Project granted

The COMMIT project SENSA on public safety has been granted funding. It is a cooperation project between SAN, EE, the university of Twente, governmental organization and several SME.

Nov'10 - Project granted

Point One honoured the project proposal "ISLES 2014", a cooperation between SAN and the Human Technology Interaction group, Philips Lighting, NXP and several SME on the topic of intelligent roadlighting. The project will start in January 2011
