Scientific Computing in Electrical Engineering
June, 23rd - 28th, 2002, Eindhoven, The Netherlands
Purpose of the conference
The aim of this workshop series is to bring together scientists from
universities and industry with the goal of intensive discussions about
modeling and numerical simulation of electronic circuits and of
electromagnetic fields.
The workshop is mainly directed at mathematicians and electrical engineers.
Developers of algorithms and programs shall come to know recent advances
on the other fields as well as open problems coming from industry;
industry shall come to know new program tools and mathematical methods.
Industrial involvement in SCEE-2002 is reflected in the special Industry Day, Tuesday June 25, 2002, with (highly ranked) Invited Speakers from industry and from special vendors only. They will address trends, needs and plans in EM and IC design, simulation requirements, and needs for networking between industry and universities and partnerships.
SCEE-History
SCEE is a regular workshop on Scientific Computing in Electrical
Engineering. Previous national, meetings were held in Darmstadt (1997),
Berlin (1998), Germany, both under the auspices of the DMV
(Deutscher Mathematiker Verein). In 2000, the first truly international
workshop was organized in Warnemünde by the University of
Rostock, Germany. For an impression of this last conference,
see http://www.scee-2000.uni-rostock.de/.
SCEE-2002
In 2002, the 4th SCEE conference will be jointly organized by
the Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE or TU/E) and
Philips Research Laboratories Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
The Conference will be held at the campus site of the Eindhoven University
between June 23-28, 2002.
