In-plane Object Detection: Detection Algorithms and Visibility Problems

A novel technique of detecting objects in the plane using light rays gave rise 
to many interesting geometric problems. In my talk, I will present simple 
detection algorithms and several visibility problems that occur in the process 
of detecting circular objects.
