Abstract of talk by Andrew Solomon on March 14, 2001
Recent work by Colletti and Barnes uses the conceptual framework of permutation groups to perform computations in and prove theorems about the traveling salesman problem.

This talk will survey their work and briefly discuss their application of GAP and JavaMath to TSP problems.
