Welcome to the new SPAN website. SPAN, or Security PhD Association Netherlands, was previously known as the SAFE-NL PhD association and was affiliated with SAFE-NL. Under that name, we have organized six previous meetings, which can be found in the Past Events section.
The information about the 10th SPAN PhD workshop is already available.
Aims and Scope
Security PhD Association Netherlands (SPAN) brings together PhD students in the Netherlands performing research in security and others interested in the latest advances in the security of computer systems and networks. It serves as an informal platform for the young researchers to present their work, to share ideas, to yield discussions and moreover, to seek opportunities for collaboration in research. We believe that a strong group of PhD students can be a very important breeding ground for joint research and publication.
The SPAN steering committee organizes two SPAN workshops every year, where PhD students in security research can present their work. The principal audience consists of security PhD students, but master students and postdocs are welcome as guest. For a list of past events, click here.
Any PhD student in Netherlands that carries out research on security related subject can be a member of SPAN.
SPAN organizes a moderated mailing list on subjects relevant for the PhD students in security research. To (un)subscribe to the list point your browser at here. Of course, the name and email addresses contained in the list will not, under any circumstance, be given to any third party.
