I am developing techniques to visually analyze the parameter spaces of image analysis systems. The aim is to apply Information Visualization techniques and Visual Analytics principles to assist users to efficiently and effectively gain insight into the influence of input parameter settings on the output of complex image analysis algorithms. It is anticipated that these techniques will carry over to other applications, such as the analysis of input and output of MRI systems.

The above work is carried out as part of the WELMEC Medical Engineering research initiative. It is funded by the Wellcome Trust and the EPSRC.

My PhD was completed at Eindhoven University of Technology, where I developed interactive visualization techniques to analyze large state transition graphs. Further details can be found on my research and publications pages. At TU/e, I was very fortunate to work under the supervision of Professor Jack van Wijk. My PhD research was funded by the NWO.

I hold an MSc from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Computer Science) and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Pretoria (BSc Mathematics, BIS Multimedia). Before graduate school I was an analyst with a multinational management consulting firm.
