On the Toll Setting Problem

We consider a bilevel model in which the leader tries to maximize its revenues by imposing taxes on a given set of activities, while the follower tries to optimize its own objective by reacting to those taxes.

The project of my thesis is to look for:

• new mathematical models to describe this,
• valid inequalities,
• more efficient methods to solve the problem.
