Optimization methods to address scalability issues in internet networks

Routing management in an Internet domain is adversely affected from increases in the size of the domain. If a domain gets too large, routing-related workload on the system components may increase drastically so that undesired delays might occur in the domain operations.

In this thesis, this scaling problem in Internet networks is analyzed with a focus on optimal deployment analysis of some routing protocols like ISIS and BGP.
