In this project, the use of multivariate quadratic equations, both for public key schemes (e.g., Hidden Field Equations, Unbalanced Oil and Vinegar Schemes, C^*, enhanced TTS) and also their applications for algebraic attacks against stream and block ciphers is investigated.
