Recent gnu distributions no longer support Linux but only some
hitherto unknown system called lignux.
This directory contains sources where support for Linux has been
added again - roughly speaking by changing every file containing
the string lignux.
This might or might not grow into a separate branch of the source
trees involved.  I can think of some useful changes to emacs,
bash and df.
