Currently, I am a PhD candidate under the supervision of prof.dr.ir. Dick Epema at the System Architecture and Networks Group (SAN) at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Initially, I joined the SAN group as a researcher within the RMAC project in 2012. My interests are in the areas of large scale distributed systems and cloud. As a PhD student, my research focus is on resource management, performance analysis and scheduling in data-center environments such as clusters, grids or clouds in context of large scale processing frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.

Projects
  • RMAFCloudJan 2013 - Jan 2017

    The main objectives of this project is to design a generic framework that allows a wide range of current and future frameworks to be scheduled dynamically in cluster and datacenter environments.
  • RMACJan 2012 - Jan 2013

    The overall goal of RMAC project is to provide solutions for the effective, efficient, and elastic resource management across multiple clouds at the Infrastructure as a Service level for a wide range of application types in federated public and private cloud infrastructures as extensions of the current systems.
