The Gordon Highlanders

Formed 1 July 1881 by amalgamation of 75th Regiment of Foot and 100th Regiment of Foot.
17 September 1994 amalgamated with The Queen's Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons) to form The Highlanders (Seaforth, Gordons and Camerons).

1st Battalion
Formed 12 October 1787 as 75th (Highland) Regiment of Foot.
17 September 1994 merged with 1st Battalion The Queen's Own Highlanders to form 1st Battalion The Highlanders.
