1982?: 'G' (HSF) Company formed.
1 April 1986: New 'A' Company formed at Sparkbrook from
platoon 'B' Company; 'C' Company at Ashton-under-Lyne formed
by redesignation of 'C' Company 4th Battalion The Queen's Lancashire
Regiment;
16 May 1988: 'C' Company at Balham, London transferred
to 8th Battalion The Queen's
Fusiliers.
1992: reduced to three rifle company establisment.
16 November 1992: 'C' Company at Ashton-under-Lyne disbanded;
New 'C' Company formed at Shirley, Solihull by redesignation of
'C'
Company 4th Battalion The Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment.
December 1992: 'D' Company at Bury transferred as 'C'
