The Tyne-Tees Regiment

Formed 1 July 1999 with Headquarters at Gilesgate Armoury, Durham.
Successor to 6th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (Volunteers), 4th/5th Battalion The Green Howards (Yorkshire Volunteers) and 7th Battalion The Light Infantry (Volunteers).

COMPANIES:
A (Green Howards) Company at Scarborough with Pltn at Northallerton. Formed by redesignation of 'A' Company and 'C' Company 4th/5th Battalion The Green Howards.
B (Green Howards) Company at Stockton Road, Middlesbrough with Pltn at Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough. Formed by redesignation of 'B' Company and 'HQ' Company 4th/5th Battalion The Green Howards.
C (Durham Light Infantry) Company at Bishop Auckland with Pltns at Consett and Washington. Formed by redesignation of 'B' Company and 'C' Company 7th Battalion The Light Infantry.
X (Fusilier) Company at Newcastle upon Tyne with Pltn at Alnwick. Formed by redesignation of 'W' Company and 'X' Company 6th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
Z (Fusilier) Company at Ashington with Pltn at Tynemouth. Formed by redesignation of 'Z' Company 6th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
