C Company (Welch) at Pontypridd and Bridgend. Formed from 5th

1 January 1969: D Company (Royal Welch Fusiliers) formed at Caernarvon and Aberystwyth from 6th/7th (T) Battalion The Royal Welch Fusiliers.
1970 'A' Company formed platoon at Prestayn from 208
Battery 103 Regiment Royal Artillery (Volunteers).
1 April 1971: Unit disbanded.
'HQ', 'B' and 'C' Company redesignated as 'HQ', 'B'
and 'C' Company 3rd (Volunteer) The
Royal Regiment of Wales respectively.
