1986: 'G' Company (interim designation) formed at Guisborough
from detachment 'B' Company;

1978: 'HQ' Company formed Mortar Pltn at Beverley. Headquarters

October 1980: 'C' Company formed platoon at Batley.
15 January 1986: Batley Pltn 'C' Company transferred as
nucleus of 'C' Company 8th

Company formed new platoon at Goole.

2nd Battalion Yorkshire Volunteers (Yorkshire and Humberside)
Redesignated 17 January 1989. Headquarters at Worsley Barracks, York.

1 April 1991: 'E' (The Humber Artillery) Company reformed at Mona House, Hull from elements 2nd Battalion and partly from 129 (East Riding) Field Squadron RE (V).
4 April 1992: Battalion reorganised with three rifle companies.
'A' Company formed detachment at Goole from 'C' Company;
Selby detachment closed. 15 December 1992 elements at Colliergate moved
to Lumley Barracks, York.
'C' Company at Castleford amalgamated with 'B' Company
