Some personal information:

Married, 2 kids.
I am a christian. Our current home church is International Baptist Church Eindhoven.
In the past we have been a member of International Baptist Church Brussels,
First Baptist Church in Cleveland and the Nieuwe Kerk in Utrecht. Check out the Alpha course.

In 1985, I won the Dutch open championship chess in the category under 13 years.
I was a member of Paul Keres. My Kasparov number is 4.
Classical music is my big passion; in particular I love music by Mozart, Johann Christian Bach, and Haydn. I play the cello.
I like traveling, trekking, and bicycling. I like both nature and big cities.
We have lived in Utrecht, Duesseldorf, Cleveland, Brussels as well as several other Dutch cities.
Humor is very important to me. My favorite TV series is "Are you being served?".
I like comic books, favorites being Dirk Jan, Heinz, and Gaston.
