Most people address me as "JC". In the Netherlands, for all official purposes/transactions, I am referred to as J.C.B. Rantham Prabhakara.
I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science working in the area of Process Mining.
Prior to that I have been a PhD student working on process mining. I successfully defended my doctoral thesis entitled "Process Mining in the Large: Preprocessing, Discovery, and Diagnostics" on May 14, 2012. I did my masters in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) in 2004. Subsequently I had worked at Philips Research India, and later at Accenture Technology Labs, Bangalore, India as a Researcher before I considered to pursue my PhD.
