Short description: This master thesis involves research in the field of real-time scheduling for distributed systems in vehicles. For this topic, you should research and provide an overview of the state-of-the-art for automotive systems. Based upon this overview, you will select a suitable starting point for automotive systems, which supports the execution of both firm real-time and best-effort applications. You will setup a proof-of-concept for this real-time system to execute a demonstration application. For the next steps you will research the possibility to couple multiple of these systems for distributed execution of firm real-time and best-effort applications.
