Currently, I'm a researcher at the Laboratory for Quality Software (LaQuSo) at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). LaQuSo is aimed at applying research results to problems encountered by industrial partners. I'm involved in the OPENCOSS project, which is dedicated to producing the first European-wide open safety certification platform.

Previously, I was a PhD candidate at the Software Engineering and Technology (SET) group, which is part of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Eindhoven University of Technology. The main topics of my PhD research were Model-Driven Software Engineering and Domain-Specific Modeling Languages. More information about the publications that resulted from this research are available via this website. As a PhD candidate, I was involved in a number of teaching activities, such as the supervision of students.
