About me

I, Maximilian Konzack, am a PhD student in the algorithms group at Technical University Eindhoven (TU/e) since 2013. We, my supervisors Kevin Buchin, Michel Westenberg and I, study spatio-temporal data and movement patterns. Please check out the summary of our results and research.

My PhD project is on progressive and user-steered algorithms in the context of visual analytics. It is a joint project between the algorithms and visualization groups. My promotor is Mark de Berg.

Prior to that, I graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) in computer science at Free University Berlin (FU Berlin). My specialization was programming languages and compiler construction.

Since I have been enthusiastic and using open source much in the past, I participated at the Google's Summer of Code 2013. Within this 3 month project, I have developed a visualizer for JRuby's compiler and interpreter artifacts for the JRuby project.
