WEEKLY MEETING PROTOCOL Version 1, 21-10-2005 by Sandro Dear PhD student, To make sure you make enough progress, we have weekly meetings, which are usually 45-minutes or 1-hour long. To make sure I am well-prepared, you should send me the following material: 1) the list of things you have done in the week before the meeting. 2) the list of things you plan to do in the week after the meeting. 3) what you have written in the week itself (postscript, or pdf), if any. there are some constraints: a) (1) and (2) should be contained in ONE A4 MAXIMUM; you can send me (1) and (2) per email just before the meeting, and then come with a printed version. b) You should send me printed material (3) at least 24 hours in advance. otherwise I won't be able to read it! c) When you send me printed material which is an extension of the material you sent me the week before, please mark clearly the new and changed parts, so that I can concentrate on them. Failing to meet these constraints will mean that you'll have partly wasted a week of your time, because I won't be able to give you a good feedback. Sandro
