PhD. student in Computer Science / Data Science / Process Mining

About Me

Hi, my name is Sebastiaan van Zelst (though you may call me Bas). I am a PhD. candidate at the Architecture of Information Systems group at the Eindhoven University of Technology.

My PhD. project is part of the "Desire Lines in Big Data" project (DeLiBiDa in short) founded by the NWO, being an NWO TOP project. The DeLiBiDa project concerns the application of process mining within "data-intensive environments" . My track within the project is mainly focussing on Data Streams / Data Stream Mining. My first promoter is Wil van der Aalst and my daily supervisor is Boudewijn van Dongen.

The main goal of this website concerns enhancing the availability/visibility of my research, the availability of some material for courses where I am involved as an assistant and information on other projects. Feel free to contact me (via email) concerning research proposals, data availability and other related interesting projects.
