B&S participates in the Master programs SPOR and DMA. These Master programs are specializations of the Master's degree program Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
The Master specialization SPOR focuses on topics in Probability, Statistics, and Operations Research.
Statistics and Probability Theory deal with modelling and analysing phenomena in which randomness plays an important role.
Operations Research concerns the study of mathematical models and methods for the analysis of decision and optimization problems, and the design of algorithms for these models.
