To make registration for FMweek as convenient as possible, we have created a central system that allows participants to register for any desired combination of events and make hotel reservations for the their stay in Eindhoven, all in one process. Registrations and reservations will be handled by the Congress Office of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), by means of a single registration website.
To make central registration possible, a number of aspects of registration have been unified across the events and meetings of FMweek. We describe these first, before going into the registration process itself.
FMweek has three registration periods, which apply to all events and meetings:
FMweek has two registration categories: regular and student. However, not all events use both categories. Where there is only one type of registration, the category regular is used.
For each event or meeting, registration in any category includes coffee breaks and lunches for the duration of that event or meeting.
An advantage of central registration is that the costs that are directly related to handling the registrations of a participant only have to be paid once, regardless of the number of events or meetings in FMweek this person registers for. We wanted to pass this advantage on to the participants (basic registration costs for multiple events are the same as for one event), and to the events and meetings (if a person registers for multiple events, these events should not each have to carry the full costs for handling the registration of this person).
Hence it was arranged to take these basic registration costs (which would normally be hidden) out of the registration fees of all events and meetings in FMweek, and make them a separate item in the registration process. Therefore every participant is asked to pay for a basic registration to FMweek of 35 euros, regardless of the combination of events for which he/she registers.
The process for registration on the central site consists of five steps. Inevitably, some of these steps will present you with a lot of options. To help you maintain the overview, this page contains a guide to registration describing the steps in sequence. We suggest that you open the registration site in a new window by clicking the link FMweek registration site and keep this window open next to it, to scroll through the explanations as you work your way through the registration process (if you would like to print the guide, you can click here for a full-page version).
This page allows you to create a login, so you can revisit the registration site. When you return after you have gone through all the steps in the process you can no longer change your registrations and hotel reservation data, only check it. If you want to make any changes after completing the process, please contact the Congress Office of the TU/e at congressoffice@tue.nl
This page asks for standard personal information, there is a remarks box at the bottom of the page where you can enter dietary restrictions or other specific information regarding your registration.
Also at the bottom of the page is button for the basic FMweek registration. Even though this registration is obligatory for all participants, as explained above, you will have to click the button yourself. We apologize for the inconvenience.
This page shows all registration options for all events (except the Dutch Testing Day). You can simply check the combination of options you want for your participation in FMweek. To assist you, this page summarizes the registration information for all these options in the same order in which they appear on the registration details page.

A selection of hotels is offered at reduced rates through the Congress Bureau. The hotel costs are not part of your registration, you will have to pay the hotel yourself upon check-out.
All hotels offered are in the centre of Eindhoven. They are all close to the FMweek venue (between 0.8 and 1.3 kilometres), with the Sandton Hotel a little bit further away (2.2 kilometers). The listed prices include breakfast, but not the tourist tax of 3.50 euros per person per night.
The registration site offer three ways of paying:
Once you have completed payment details and confirmed that you accept the terms and conditions, you reach the final page thanking you for your registration. You will also receive an email showing the registration and reservation data you submitted.
