How identify an existing plugin

Regarding all the plug-in information of ProM, only by downloading the source code and viewing the code, could I know what the plug-in achieves?

    Hi,

Some of the plugins have a help text, that is shown by ProM when you select the plugin in the action view. However, not all plugins have such a text.

Typically, there are also (academic) papers on these plugins, but the problem is where to find these papers if a reference to the paper is not included in the help text of the plugin.

A possibility could be to contact the developer of the plugin you're interested in and ask for documentation. The name of the developer is shown by ProM in the action view.

    Kind regards,
    Eric.
