Conversion of lifecycle information to OpenXES

Hi everyone,
I'm a research engineer at Siav, and recently we started to work on extracting event logs from our systems to do process mining.
I am trying to map them to the OpenXES standard, and found an almost 1:1 mapping between the event types in our workflow engine and the standard transition attribute values, but miss two of them:
  1. data validation
  2. data save
The question is: how can I map those event types to OpenXES? Should I not use the standard lifecycle? What are the drawbacks if I try to do that?

Thanks in advance,
Alessandro
