Trace clustering of traces with varying length

edited February 2015 in - Usage

Trying to cluster traces where the sequence length greatly vary and where I'd like to take that into account. E.g. I'd like to consider abc closer to abd then abc to abcefg. As I understand the Edit distance should take this into consideration but when using the Trace Clustering in ProM to do this the results are not the expected.

Any suggestions?

  • Dear Fordanic,

Could you clarify which plug-in you use, which settings and why the results are unexpected?
