SAN - Vacancies

SAN is looking for qualified PhD candidates for new projects in the area of networked embedded systems. Candidates must have a solid background in computer science (software!) with proven knowledge and experience in at least two from the following list:

  • distributed systems
  • real-time systems
  • resource management
  • machine learning

This is illustrated by courses taken, MSc work or by written papers. Interested candidates can send their CV and research interests to

Gupta, Luit, Van de Heuvel and Bril had a best paper titled 'Extending ExSched with Mixed Criticality Support - an experience report' in the Workshop on Automotive System/Software Architecture (WASA).

Jan'17 - Journal paper

Acceptance of a 64 page paper entitled "Fixed priority scheduling with pre-emption thresholds and cache-related pre-emption delays: integrated analysis and evaluation" in the Real-Time Systems journal of Springer.

Oct'16 - Outstanding paper

Jingyue Cao received an outstanding paper award for Independent yet Tight WCRT Analysis for Individual Priority Classes in Ethernet AVB at the RTNS 2016 conference.
